Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician, 2nd shift G2 at its Greenwood, SC site to assemble units per drawings and procedures. The role emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and adherence to safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, updating Kanban data, and supporting engineering changes and customer requests. Training may occur on first shift during the initial period. Eligible for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• SCMC certification preferred.
• Industrial manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing documentation and drawings to assemble units.
• Complete daily productivity and 5S documentation.
• Maintain Kanban inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues.
• Respond to engineering changes and customer-driven modifications.
• Support engineering, drafting, and supervisory teams on development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
