The parish’s Evangelization Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, supervision, and execution of the parish faith formation ministries designed to engage, educate, and empower adults and children (through 12th grade). The Coordinator also oversees the necessary preparations for the Sacraments of Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, Confirmation, and those entering the Church through the OCIA.
Because the parish office is open 24 hours a week and this position is 35 hours a week full-time salary, the Evangelization Coordinator is expected to conduct work outside of the parish office hours. Weekend and evening work, and frequent presence at weekend liturgies is expected. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds may be necessary, and too, bend, walk, climb on a stepstool; some light, physical effort is required.
