Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Sedalia, MO is seeking an Evaluator to perform comprehensive initial assessments across the lifespan, guiding tailored treatment plans and proper placement within our wide range of services.

Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field and a Missouri license (LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, LP, PLP, PLMFT, or LMFT). Strong communication and analytical skills and EMR proficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough screenings and assessments to evaluate appropriateness and eligibility for Centerstone services.
  • Analyze functioning levels, identify diagnoses, and outline objectives for customized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with support services teams to optimize scheduling and reduce last-minute disruptions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and submit punctually per department deadlines.
  • Gather and record requisite data for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about Centerstone programs, admissions criteria, and referral methods.
  • Develop follow-up strategies for all evaluated clients.
  • Respond to emergencies with swift intervention when needed.
  • Build knowledge of regional resources to connect clients with vital support networks.
  • Participate in peer review and attend departmental meetings as required.
  • Uphold quality assurance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
