Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in St. Louis, MO seeks a licensed behavioral health professional as Clinical Evaluator to conduct screenings and assessments, establish provisional diagnoses, and connect clients with appropriate services.

You will provide safety planning, brief therapy where appropriate, and collaborate with teams to promote timely access to care, with opportunities for professional growth and emphasis on compassionate, ethical practice.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required or equivalent.
  • Licensure in Missouri as LPC/PLPC/LCSW/LMSW/LP/PLP/PLMFT/LMFT is required or provisional.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings, clinical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to identify needs and recommended services.
  • Connect individuals with mental health, substance use, and community-based programs.
  • Develop provisional diagnoses and individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide brief therapy, safety planning, and crisis support when appropriate.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up to ensure timely access to care.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to reduce barriers and support continuity of care.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
