Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Novi, MI is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to deliver expert post-sales support for EV battery test, BMS, and grid emulator solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; Master’s or PhD a plus.
• 5+ years in application engineering, product development, or technical support in EV/test solutions with power electronics experience.
• Hands-on experience with EV Test, Battery Test Systems, High-Power Charging Test, EV/EVSE, BMS, and Power Grid systems.
• Experience with test system software architectures and resolving network setup issues.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert post-sales customer support for EV, BMS, inverter, EVSE, and related test solutions.
• Troubleshoot measurements, validation, and test challenges to help customers succeed.
• Analyze and diagnose hardware and software failures (remote or on-site).
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and provide best-practice guidance.
• Work with a team of engineers to ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in the case management system.
• Publish technical knowledge articles to enable self-service by customers.
• Provide start-up assistance and trainings to maximize system productivity.
• Be the voice of the customer and provide actionable feedback to product teams.
