Ever is hiring an EV Sales Consultant in San Diego to guide customers through the EV buying journey, both in-person and remotely, and to close deals with a consultative, trust-building approach.

You will respond to inbound leads, conduct test drives, educate on EV technology and incentives, and maintain CRM records while collaborating with Finance and Delivery teams. On-site in San Diego with commissions.

Formación

• 1-5+ years automotive or consultative sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Guide customers through the EV buying journey, both in-person and remotely
• Respond to inbound leads and proactively follow up with prospects
• Conduct test drives and product demonstrations
• Drive vehicles between showroom and storage lots
• Educate customers on EV technology, incentives, charging, and ownership costs
• Build trust through a consultative, no-pressure sales approach
• Close deals and hit monthly volume and revenue targets
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management
• Partner closely with Customer Experience, Finance, and Delivery teams
• Provide feedback to Product and Ops on customer needs and objections
• Represent Ever's brand and values on the showroom floor

Qualifications & Fit

• 1-5+ years of automotive or consultative sales experience
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean, acceptable driving record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-first mindset with a relationship-driven approach
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Comfortable selling both in-person and digitally
• Coachable, motivated, and competitive
• Organized with strong follow-up discipline
• Passion for EVs and sustainable transportation

Technical Skills

• Experience using CRM tools (VinSolutions, eLead, etc.)
• Comfort with digital retail platforms and e-signature tools
• Ability to manage leads across multiple channels
• Strong written communication (email & SMS)
• Basic understanding of financing workflows a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while assisting customers on the showroom floor and during vehicle demonstrations
• Ability to enter, exit, and operate vehicles safely, including occasional driving for vehicle demonstrations, deliveries, or movement between locations
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, including marketing materials, customer items, and light showroom supplies

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation: $70,000-130,000 OTE (commission-based)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); PTO and sick time.

Location

• San Diego, CA - On-Site Required. No remote or hybrid arrangements. Availability required during high-volume periods, weekend hours, and month-end close.
