Job summary

Lucid Motors in Casa Grande, Arizona is seeking a senior GRC Program Manager to strengthen the connection between government regulations, safety requirements, EV-specific compliance, and final product release decisions. In the first year, you will own development and execution of regulatory compliance controls to support production readiness and release across models and markets.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in an automotive, manufacturing plant environment.
• 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance or government affairs.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, or a related technical field.
• Experience introducing new systems, equipment, manufacturing processes, inspection controls, or quality verification methods into a production environment.
• Working knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, product release controls, engineering changes, deviations, rework processes, containment, and production quality systems.
• Ability to interpret regulatory, homologation, safety, or quality requirements and translate them into manufacturing controls, inspection points, audit criteria, and release requirements.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain regulatory processes, verification controls, and release criteria by vehicle configuration, market requirement, and export destination.
• Partner with Homologation to translate requirements into manufacturing processes and release evidence.
• Confirm that regulatory, safety, certification, labeling, and EV compliance data support product releases.
• Lead production surveillance activities to verify regulatory and safety requirements are implemented.
• Drive containment, corrective action, and root cause analysis when issues are identified.
• Coordinate audits by preparing evidence and tracking follow-up actions.
• Lead cross‑functional response across Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Launch, Quality, Homologation, and Production.
