Job summary

You will run simulations with ANSYS, GT-SUITE, STAR-CCM+ to optimize cooling, validate models with real-world data, and work with powertrain, electrical, and control teams to integrate solutions into the vehicle design.

Qualifications

• Experience with thermal management of EV powertrains.
• Proven ability to perform thermal simulations for cooling/heating systems.
• Ability to validate models with real-world data and adjust as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement thermal management strategies for high-power EV components.
• Conduct thermal simulations to optimize cooling and heating under varied operating conditions.
• Collaborate with powertrain, electrical, and control teams to integrate solutions into vehicle design.
• Analyze heat transfer in radiators, heat exchangers, and HVAC to maintain optimal temperatures.
• Optimize battery thermal management to enhance range and longevity.
• Validate thermal models against real-world data and adjust parameters for accuracy.
• Document results and provide design improvement recommendations to boost cooling efficiency.
• Research and evaluate advanced cooling technologies to improve overall thermal performance.
