Job summary

Harbinger Motors is seeking a Material Planner to support manufacturing operations, ensuring timely supply of materials and maintaining inventory targets with precision. This role interfaces with production, procurement, and logistics to optimize supply plans and minimize costs while sustaining uninterrupted production.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years in material planning or related fields, strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and advanced Excel capabilities to analyze and report on material usage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-7 years proven experience in material planning, production scheduling, or supply chain management within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
• Experience in Engineering Change Management or New Product Introduction is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production teams to develop and optimize detailed supply plans aligned with demand and capacity.
• Lead MRP processes and build/validate supply plans with suppliers.
• Coordinate with logistics to convert supply plans into transportation plans minimizing costs.
• Monitor and adjust supply plans to accommodate demand changes or operational needs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production to validate forecasts and adjust plans.
