Job summary

EV.Careers is seeking a full-time EV Infrastructure Services Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of EV charging services for assigned clients across the nation. You will coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and utilities to ensure reliable, safe charging operations with a focus on uptime and performance.

Remote-friendly in the Greater Bay Area or Seattle, with 30-50% travel. You will draft scopes of work, manage budgets, track milestones, and provide updates to leadership and clients while staying

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in EV charging infrastructure or related fields.
  • Experience managing projects across vendors, contractors, or service delivery teams.
  • Solid understanding of Level 2 and DC Fast Charging technology.
  • Familiarity with permitting, utility coordination, EV infrastructure rollout, LCFS credits, and related regulatory factors.
  • Strong organizational abilities with planning and coordination skills.
  • Experience interpreting operational data to identify performance improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Own the daily delivery of EV infrastructure services for assigned client accounts, focusing on system reliability.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for EV charging stations.
  • Track charger uptime and performance metrics; flag trends and recommend improvements.
  • Serve as the go-to contact for internal operations on service requests and support.
  • Liaise with OEMs, contractors, utility providers, and vendors to resolve issues.
  • Participate in site evaluations and infrastructure assessments for new and existing sites.
  • Draft scopes of work, service agreements, and project plans for EV initiatives.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to keep deliverables on track.
  • Oversee vendor performance and assist with managing contractors.
  • Support permitting, compliance, and utility coordination efforts as needed.
  • Ensure field work complies with safety standards and internal policies.
  • Compile and present performance reports and updates for leadership and clients.
  • Visit client sites to support installations, maintenance, and reviews.
  • Keep current on emerging EV technologies and industry trends to inform best practices.
  • Provide EV infrastructure expertise to support sales conversations.

EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time EV Infrastructure Services Manager for one of our partners, a transportation and infrastructure services company serving clients across multiple industries nationwide. In this position, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery and performance of EV charging infrastructure services, coordinating with vendors, OEMs, and utilities to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient charging operations for assigned clients. Remote-friendly in the Greater Bay Area or Seattle, requiring travel 30-50% of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Own the daily delivery of EV infrastructure services for assigned client accounts, with a focus on maximizing system reliability
  • Coordinate scheduling and execution of maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for EV charging stations
  • Track charger uptime and performance metrics, flagging trends and recommending improvements
  • Act as the go-to contact for internal operations teams on service requests, issues, and support needs
  • Liaise with OEMs, contractors, utility providers, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Participate in site evaluations and infrastructure assessments for both new and existing client locations
  • Help draft scopes of work, service agreements, and project plans for EV infrastructure initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in EV charging infrastructure, electrical systems, facilities operations, energy management, or a similar field
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects while coordinating across vendors, contractors, or service delivery teams
  • Solid understanding of Level 2 and DC Fast Charging technology
  • Working knowledge of charger maintenance programs, warranty processes, and vendor service agreements
  • Familiarity with utility coordination, permitting requirements, EV infrastructure rollout, LCFS credits, and related regulatory factors
  • Well-developed organizational abilities with a knack for planning and coordinating projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships
  • Comfortable interpreting operational data to pinpoint areas for performance gains
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Sustainability, or a related field
  • ChargePoint, ABB, and other OEM experience
