Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• At least 3+ years of progressively responsible relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess and model impacts of EV infrastructure and DERs on SMUD's grid.
• Forecast EV adoption, charging load shapes, and DER capacity growth.
• Provide technical analysis, site assessments, and interconnection documentation for EV deployment.
• Evaluate interconnection applications and perform system impact studies.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and system models.
