Job summary

Via Transportation, Inc. is hiring a Utility Worker to keep our fully electric fleet safe, efficient, and ready for service in Florida. You will handle daytime and overnight charging, vehicle movement, and basic on‑the‑ground tasks to support operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring charge levels, coordinating repairs, and performing simple maintenance like tire swaps. We value initiative, teamwork, and meticulousness in scheduling and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of a drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle records check is mandatory.
• MVR must be clean with no felonies, DUI/DWI, or reckless driving convictions and no more than 2 speeding tickets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle charge levels and maneuver vehicles to chargers as needed.
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance; shuttle vehicles to/from vendors; inspect cleanliness and readiness.
• Perform smaller maintenance tasks (e.g., tire swaps, light repairs).
• Support the operations team with on-the-ground responsibilities and organize workspaces.
