Job summary

Pacific Power Solutions (PPS) seeks an EV Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair EV charging infrastructure across multiple sites with regional travel. You will be the primary field authority for diagnostics, repairs, commissioning support, and preventative maintenance, ensuring high uptime and safe operations.

Responsibilities include documenting service work, coordinating with utilities and site hosts, and performing tests of voltage, continuity, and network

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in electrical field service, EVSE, telecom, or industrial electrical systems preferred.
• Prior experience with EV charging infrastructure strongly preferred.
• Electrical apprenticeship, trade school, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair EV charging infrastructure (EVSE).
• Perform preventative maintenance and commissioning support for new systems.
• Test and verify operation of chargers including voltage, continuity, and communication signals.
• Replace components such as connectors, cables, displays, boards, relays, and breakers.
• Document service work, test results, and commissioning in CMMS or dispatch systems.
• Coordinate with utilities, site hosts, and dispatch teams; travel between multiple sites.
