Job summary

Harbinger Motors, an American EV company, seeks an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to ensure high equipment reliability on automated production lines. You will diagnose failures, implement maintenance strategies, and collaborate across Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and suppliers.

The role covers troubleshooting PLCs, managing networks, and maintaining mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety, ISO standards, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced EV manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation failures to maximize uptime.
Develop and improve preventive/predictive maintenance plans and metrics (MTBF, MTTR, OEE).
Perform root-cause analyses (RCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and implement corrective actions.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs at basic-to-intermediate level (Siemens/Allen‑Bradley).
Maintain and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and pneumatic diagrams.
Lead and support continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Provide direct production support during ramp-ups and critical failures; mentor technicians.
