Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Vehicle Development Technician - Electrical to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on vehicles, and to support development and validation activities on test benches and road vehicles.

The role involves attaching instrumentation, wiring harness fabrication, and in-vehicle wiring modifications, with opportunities to assist engineers across component and system levels while working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' mechanic experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and testing equipment.
• Experience fabricating or modifying vehicle wire harnesses.
• Experience with test setup for development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles.
• Attach test equipment to road test vehicles and drive under normal conditions.
• Bench fabricate wire harnesses and overlays; perform in-vehicle wiring modifications.
• Assist development engineers in troubleshooting at component and system levels.
