Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Vehicle Development Technician - Electrical to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems on vehicles and test equipment on road test vehicles.

The role involves bench fabrication of wire harnesses, in-vehicle wiring modifications, and testing for electrical component development and validation, including high voltage battery performance and system validation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a mechanic.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical problems and repair or replace electrical components.
• Attach test equipment to road test vehicles and drive under normal conditions.
• Bench fabricate wire harnesses and overlays; perform in-vehicle wiring modifications and testing for electrical development.
