Qualifications

• Experience with high volume manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping.
• Proficiency in 3D/2D modeling tools (Catia V5/V6 preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in hands-on mechanical integration and assembly.
• Proficiency with CAE analysis software like Ansys, Abaqus, or similar.
• Experience with Matlab and/or Python.
• Strong knowledge of material properties and mechanics of materials.

Responsibilities

• Design and 3D modeling of mechanical components including high pressure die casting.
• Create drawing packages and manufacturing instructions for parts and assemblies.
• Execute design verification process for validation.
• Conduct topology optimization and sealing analysis.
• Coordinate validation efforts between suppliers.
• Assist in engineering prototype builds and component fabrication.
