Job summary

Nevoya, a North America's leading next-generation electric trucking carrier, seeks a Dispatch Manager to lead our dispatch team and stay hands-on with real-time freight when needed. You will set daily priorities, coach staff, and step into the dispatch seat during peak volume to keep loads moving on time.

The role blends leadership with operations analytics: oversee KPIs, optimize schedules, manage EV charging plans, and ensure driver and regulatory compliance across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in logistics or dispatch with leadership experience.
• Ability to stay hands-on with day-to-day dispatch work.
• Strong knowledge of freight industry standards, processes, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of dispatchers with performance feedback.
• Set daily/weekly dispatch priorities and workload distribution.
• Personally assign and coordinate loads during high volume or urgent periods.
• Act as escalation point for unresolved dispatch issues.
• Communicate with drivers, brokers, and vendors to resolve scheduling and routing issues.
• Monitor Hours of Service compliance across the fleet.
• Oversee EV charging planning to prevent delays.
• Maintain accuracy of dispatch systems and TMS data.
• Track and report on team KPIs like on-time rates and load turnaround.
• Identify trends and drive process improvements to prevent issues.
• Update dispatch policies and SOPs as needed.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new dispatchers.
• Partner with Operations leadership on staffing and shift coverage.
• Ensure smooth shift handoffs across time zones.
