Job summary

IONNA is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer focused on charging quality to ensure reliable operations of the charging network in Durham, NC. This full-time onsite role reports to the Director of Charging Quality and requires a rigorous analytical approach.

The position offers a target base range of $80,000–$90,000 and a compensation package commensurate with experience, including benefits as described. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of root cause analysis experience in software/hardware/IoT environments.
• Strong SQL and data analytics skills.
• Experience with observability/log-analysis platforms such as Kibana, Elastic, Splunk, Datadog, Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Monitor charging network performance and identify issues before they impact customers.
• Translate customer observations into measurable technical investigations with evidence.
• Investigate charging failures using telemetry, logs, and transaction data.
• Correlate findings across hardware, CPMS, payment systems, and backend services; document evidence.
