IONNA in Durham, NC is seeking a Design Project Manager to lead 20–30 active EV charging design projects from Diligence handoff through design and AHJ submission, aligning with brand, product intent, and technical standards.

This in-office role emphasizes project ownership, vendor coordination, and meticulous documentation. Occasional remote flexibility may exist, with majority onsite collaboration and growth opportunities within a fast-paced venture backed by automakers.

Qualifications

• Background in architectural design or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of EV charging infrastructure site design or related fields.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Confluence, and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Kick off and manage external design vendors across site, architectural, and low-voltage and other scopes of work
• Ensure design outputs align with guidance set by the IONNA product team, brand standards, and properly address existing site conditions
• Review and redline construction documents (CDs) for accuracy and completeness
• Drive vendors to collaborate effectively
• Participate in pre-application meetings when required
• Drive projects toward first AHJ submission and handoff to the Site Development team
• Maintain organized project files and enforce documentation standards
