Job summary

Zero Impact Builders is seeking an Electrical Apprentice to support EV charging installations and renewable energy projects across California. You will assist licensed electricians, perform basic site tasks, and help ensure safety and compliance in outdoor field environments.

Position offers hands-on training, travel as needed, and a pathway to learn EV charging diagnostics and electrical systems within a growing renewable energy company.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical or construction experience required.
• ET Card
• Willingness to learn EV charging systems and field service
• Ability to work outdoors and travel domestically as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of EV charging systems.
• Support installations involving concrete, conduit, wire sizing, transformers and switchboards.
• Perform basic site inspections, visual checks, and documentation under supervision.
• Maintain job-site safety, organization, and cleanliness at all times.
• Help collect site information and reports; assist with on-site maintenance tasks.
