Job summary

Kaleidoscope is seeking an experienced electrical systems test engineer to drive integration, validation, and testing of EV charging infrastructure. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware installation, lab procedures, and detailed documentation in a high-safety lab environment.

The candidate will develop test plans, execute tests, and report results for DC/AC power distribution equipment, EV chargers, and related components, while coordinating with vendors and field teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical systems development, integration, and testing.
• Hands-on experience installing hardware like EV chargers, instrumentation, fuses; wiring, commissioning, bolting.
• Proficiency in requirements management from elicitation to verification in EV chargers, power supplies, inverters and DC-DC converters.

Responsibilities

• Integration and testing of electrical systems for EV charging infrastructure.
• Develop and execute testing procedures for DC and AC power distribution equipment; troubleshoot lab systems.
• Maintain lab organization, safety protocols, and equipment readiness.
• Coordinate lab resources (power, HVAC, bench space) and vendor collaboration.
