Job summary

Con Edison in New York seeks a Section Manager for E-Mobility Light-Duty Program Operations to drive electrification progress in its service territory through EV charging infrastructure programs.

Lead an organization, collaborate with customers, developers, regulators, and internal teams to advance adoption, manage schedules and budgets, and develop tools for program execution. Ensure regulatory compliance and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years relevant experience including 3 years in the energy or utilities industry.
• Master’s degree with 6 years relevant experience including 3 years in the energy or utilities industry.
• Master's Degree in business, engineering or sustainability disciplines and 5 years of utility industry experience in project management, engineering, and/or utility new business processes

Responsibilities

• Drive progress in light-duty vehicle electrification through development, implementation, and ongoing operations of light-duty EV charging infrastructure programs.
• Develop, build, and lead an organization capable of program implementation and meeting customer needs and program goals.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, automakers, charging providers, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders to advance light-duty EV adoption and participation in Con Edison programs.
• Drive program success on schedule and on budget through incentives and close budget management.
• Develop tools and processes for program execution while ensuring regulatory and legal compliance.
• Create metrics, dashboards, analytical tools, and reporting to track progress and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Prepare data for regulatory submissions, quarterly reports, and interrogatories in regulatory proceedings.
• Lead efficient operations of program compliance activities related to data collection, validation, reporting, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with E-Mobility teams to maximize program success across departments and external partners.
• Collaborate with Energy Services and Engineering to deliver a best-class customer experience.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and recruit and retain a diverse workforce.
• Ensure safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
