Rivian is looking for a mechanical product design engineer to be part of the Charging Products team in Torrance, California. This role involves significant design responsibilities for EV charging hardware, working alongside senior engineers and suppliers to ensure product excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3–6 years of product development experience, specifically in delivering mechanical designs from concept to production. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered to employees.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in product development.
• Proficiency in CAD and 2D drawing creation including GD&T.
• Experience supporting or coordinating design validation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full development lifecycle of EV charging hardware.
• Perform CAD modeling, drawing creation, and engineering releases.
• Support FEA and structural analyses to de-risk design decisions.
