Job summary

Crash Champions in the United States is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician for our busy body shop network in New Jersey. You will inspect damaged vehicles, plan repair work, and coordinate with teammates to keep repairs on track and quality high.

The role requires knowledge of vehicle repair processes, frame machine operation, and welding (I-CAR). You will guide apprentices and ensure safety standards are met; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Requires ability to use a frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and other parts to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power/hand tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and explains procedures.
