Job summary

Crash Champions, a leading collision repair network in the United States, seeks skilled auto body specialists for multiple shop locations in Michigan. The role focuses on examining damaged vehicles, planning repairs, and coordinating with team members to ensure high-quality, on-time results.

You will perform quality repairs, decide between repair and replacement based on safety and cost, and support apprentices while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Disassemble upholstery, accessories, electrical components to gain access to vehicle and fenders.
• Participate in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice and explains procedures to assistant.
