Job summary

A leading electric vehicle technology company is seeking a Construction Manager for their new manufacturing facility in Manteno, Illinois. The role requires managing all aspects of construction, ensuring timely, on-budget project delivery. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, over 10 years of construction management experience, and fluency in Mandarin is preferred. Competitive salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 plus bonus offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years on large projects.
• Experience working with brownfield or greenfield sites is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive regulations, EV batteries, or complex site construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction of the new EV battery manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement a construction plan to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including subcontractors and government agencies.
• Oversee all aspects of construction including site preparation and machinery installation.
• Ensure all safety and environmental regulations are met.
• Manage the project budget and track expenses.
