General Motors in Warren, MI is seeking a Battery Systems Lab 2nd shift Technician to support safe testing and assembly of high‑voltage battery components in a lab environment. You will implement test procedures, collect data, and communicate findings to engineering to ensure quality and reliability of electrified vehicle systems.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in mechanical or electrical field.
• Battery systems lab experience or related work.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with test automation applications in a laboratory environment.

Responsabilidades

• Champion safe test setup for battery assemblies and related components.
• Develop and manufacture instrumentation, cable and wiring assemblies, laboratory test equipment, and fixtures related to testing of battery assemblies or related components.
• Perform physical duties involving large and heavy high voltage batteries including movement, shipping, and disposal.
• Maintain records on work performed including data collected or analyzed.
• Communicate findings with engineering personnel through verbal or written means and assist with revisions to product design as needed.
