Job summary

Ford is seeking a strategic Product Manager to design and manage the next generation of the accessory ecosystem for Ford Fathom, our future connected vehicle, based in California. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through market launch, partnering with brands and suppliers to create high-margin, desirable products.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop business cases, pricing, and go-to-market plans, and ensure integration with the vehicle and Ford Mobile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, computer science, product design, or business.
• 5+ years of product management or go-to-market experience.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Trend Forecasting: translate global trends into an ecosystem roadmap.
• Ownership of the P&L for the accessory ecosystem and pricing strategies.
• Develop strategies to decouple product lifecycles from vehicle development.
• Write clear product requirements bridging consumer and automotive needs.
• Champion integration of accessories with vehicle and Ford mobile experience.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Design, CMF, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing and Sales.
• Identify and negotiate with consumer brands, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Define licensing, IP and go-to-market strategies with partners.
• Develop go-to-market plans to bundle accessories with vehicle packages.
