Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a System Validation Engineer to support validation of next-generation Access Control systems across vehicle, mobile app, cloud, and embedded platforms. This role focuses on validating Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA Updates, and Passive Entry features, driving end-to-end validation and test automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Validation, Integration Testing or Development Verification.
• Strong knowledge of UDS Diagnostics (ISO 14229) and CAN/CAN-FD networks.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level and vehicle-level validation of Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA, and Passive Entry features.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for customer-facing access control functionality.
• Lead defect triage, debugging, and root cause analysis across hardware, embedded software, mobile applications, and cloud services.
• Validate UDS diagnostics services (ISO 14229), DTC behavior, and ECU communication.
• Analyze NFC, BLE, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and regression tests using Python and CAPL.
• Support digital key interoperability testing across Apple, Google, and Samsung ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful feature delivery and release readiness.
