Job summary

ASML US in San Diego, CA is seeking a Research Engineer for the 2nd shift to support preparation and demonstration of EUV light source technology. Qualifications

• Requires MS with 3+ years or BS with 5+ years in optics, opto-mechanics, electrical/photonics engineering, physics or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in technical engineering roles; EUV light source experience is highly desired.
• Familiar with the engineering development process from requirements to testing and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Understand technology and integration of new modules through documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Develop procedures, troubleshooting activities and action plans.
• Own fault tracking for system issues and manage proto machine test cycles.
• Contribute to upgrade/def integration planning for new modules.
• Review test plans for content criticality toward research objectives and data collection.
• Translate TPS into execution sequences for test campaigns and run tests.
• Support data collection, analysis and reporting of conclusions.
• Uphold ASML safety culture and deliver progress reports to stakeholders.
• Generate ideas for development and maturation of EUV light sources.
