Job summary

ASML US, LLC in San Diego, CA seeks a Research Engineer for 2nd shift to support EUV light source research. You will work with scientists to prepare, execute, and interpret learning activities on proto machines, owning problem analysis and data review.

The role requires MS with 3+ years (or BS with 5+ years) in optics/engineering/physics and the ability to collaborate across disciplines. On-site work with safety culture emphasis and technical reporting is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires MS with 3+ years of experience or BS with 5+ years in optics, opto-mechanics, electrical/photonics, physics, or related science.

Responsibilities

• Understand technology and module integration by reading docs and attending knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Develop procedures, troubleshooting activities, and action plans.
• Own fishbone diagrams for system issues and close-loop issue management for proto machines.
• Contribute to PERT for upgrade/integration of new modules.
• Review TPS for content criticality toward research objectives and data collection.
