Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Sourcing Leader to define supplier strategy, lead negotiations, and optimize supplier panels across Europe. The role involves managing medium to large teams and influencing procurement policy while ensuring internal customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Sourcing Management at a high level.
• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED).
• Proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels; lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers.
• Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement; manage claims; data analysis and negotiations support.
• Lead and develop medium to large teams; attract and retain talent; influence policy within the organization.
• Lead functional projects with moderate to high complexity; present solutions to leaders and influence peers to action.
• Own budgets and act as the local sourcing leadership referent; interact with other functions to ensure delivery.
