Job summary

Leidos Inc is seeking a skilled European/Continental Portuguese Instructor to provide in-person language instruction and assessments. This full-time position requires a passion for language and fluency in instructional strategies tailored to adult learners.

The ideal candidate should have at least a Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years of teaching experience. The role also necessitates the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance, which Leidos is willing to sponsor for qualified candidates who pass the necessary language tests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct adult teaching experience or 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in developing instructional materials customized for adult learners.
• Familiarity with ILR Scale and current events in the foreign language.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3-5 hours of language instruction per day across proficiency levels.
• Develop tailored instructional materials and training aids.
• Conduct language proficiency assessments following certification.
