Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. seeks a Director of Project Engineering to lead the regional Project Engineering organization and ensure successful delivery of SCADA, EMS, GMS, ADMS, and related OT solutions for electric utility customers.

Based in Europe, you will guide a dispersed team and set engineering standards across the region. You will partner with Professional Services, Sales, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to drive excellence, improve delivery, and promote cybersecurity, safety,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive engineering experience in industrial automation or OT.
5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing managers.
Experience leading distributed European engineering teams.
Experience delivering complex utility SCADA, EMS, DMS, ADMS projects.

Responsibilities

Lead regional team of Project Engineering Managers, Senior Project Engineers, and Project Engineers.
Establish strategic vision for Project Engineering across Europe.
Build capability via recruiting, coaching, mentoring, succession planning.
Foster accountability, collaboration, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Develop engineering leadership and mentor future leaders.
Promote engagement and retention through effective leadership.
