Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced European Automotive Technician (A or B Level) to diagnose and repair premium European vehicles in a Santa Clara shop. Earn top-tier flat-rate compensation up to $70 per hour with a potential $90,000–$175,000+ annual earnings based on production and hours.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in a professional, team-oriented environment with modern equipment and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• A or B Level automotive technician experience.
• Experience working on European vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on European vehicles.
• Complete mechanical repairs ranging from routine service to major component replacement based on skill level.
• Diagnose drivability, electrical, and performance concerns.
• Perform engine repairs, timing chain service, and other advanced repairs appropriate to experience.
• Document accurate repair recommendations and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Communicate effectively with the service team regarding vehicle findings and repair needs.
• Deliver quality workmanship while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
