Job summary

BMW of West Houston in Katy, TX is seeking a qualified technician to diagnose, repair, and service BMW vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will use advanced diagnostic tools, follow Center and Factory standards, and participate in ongoing BMW training to develop expertise in BMW technologies.

The role requires safe work practices, a clean workspace, and effective communication with Service Advisors and the Parts Department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Own a valid driver's license.
• At least 2+ years hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent.
• ASE certifications a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background, MVR and license maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on customer and dealership vehicles.
• Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repair services.
• Perform high quality and efficient repair services for engine, steering, suspension, brakes and A/C.
• Perform Quality Control checks to ensure repairs are complete.
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.
• Maintain organized workspace and secure tools at all times.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.
• Participate in BMW training programs to hone skills and develop expertise in BMW technologies.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the employer's values and Fix it Right the First Time.
