Ameriprise Financial seeks an experienced End User Computing Engineer to design, implement, and govern endpoint management, browser management, and AI-enabled workplace technologies across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
You will partner with Security, Architecture, and Operations to deliver secure, scalable solutions, oversee governance, incident and change management, and ensure compliant, user-friendly environments for a large enterprise.

Support complex enterprise architectures by developing and implementing detailed design, configuration and engineering strategies/solutions for one or more technologies within assigned technical area of expertise. Ensure capability, flexibility, scalability, performance and reliability objectives are met or exceeded for a variety of small to mid-size projects. In collaboration with the team and vendor/contractor resources, ensure viable designs, flawless execution, and seamless transition into the production environment.
Support complex End User Computing (EUC) environments by developing and implementing detailed designs, configurations, standards, and engineering solutions across endpoint management, browser management, and modern workplace technologies. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, governance, and ongoing support of Windows, macOS, mobile devices, enterprise browser platforms, Microsoft Intune, and AI-enabled workplace technologies, including Microsoft Copilot. The position partners with Security, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and supportable solutions that enhance user experience, improve operational efficiency, and meet compliance requirements.
Design, implement, and support endpoint management solutions across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms. Develop and maintain Microsoft Intune configurations, compliance policies, security baselines, application deployment standards, and device management strategies. Design and implement endpoint policies using modern management technologies and Group Policy where appropriate. Evaluate, test, and validate new configurations, technologies, and security controls prior to production deployment. Collaborate with application owners to ensure endpoint compatibility and a positive user experience.
Design, implement, and support enterprise browser management solutions for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Administer Microsoft Edge Management Service, including policy management, reporting, governance, and operational support. Configure and maintain browser security controls, extension governance, authentication settings, and enterprise browser standards. Evaluate browser releases, policy changes, and emerging capabilities for enterprise adoption. Partner with Security and Architecture teams to ensure browser platforms align with enterprise security and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot complex browser policy, authentication, compatibility, and configuration issues.
Support the implementation, governance, and operational readiness of Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled workplace technologies. Evaluate emerging workplace technologies and provide recommendations that improve productivity and employee experience. Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to establish appropriate controls and governance for AI-enabled solutions.
Create and maintain engineering standards, technical designs, operational documentation, and support procedures. Monitor policy compliance and effectiveness through reporting, analytics, and management platforms. Participate in governance forums, architecture reviews, and technology planning activities. Support Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Vulnerability Management processes. Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions for recurring issues. Support audit and compliance activities through documentation and evidence collection.
The estimated base salary for this role is $115,000 - 145,000. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
