Job summary

CCACI is seeking a UAS Systems Engineer to support the EUAS program and MQ-1C Gray Eagle. The role focuses on interdisciplinary engineering, requirements allocation, and verification across subsystems, payloads, and ground control elements.

The candidate will balance hands-on execution with strategic thinking, contributing to cost, schedule, and airworthiness decisions. The position is based at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL, with up to 25% travel and a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• BS in Engineering or related hard science.
• 5+ years of experience in DoD acquisition programs with systems engineering background.
• Broad technical understanding across hardware, aerospace, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical domains.

Responsibilities

• Apply interdisciplinary systems engineering to Gray Eagle sub-systems, payloads, and ground control elements.
• Perform full lifecycle analyses from concept to disposal.
• Provide data-driven technical guidance to APMs and program leadership.
• Convert operational requirements into total system solutions and technical specs within constraints.
• Review TDPs, system modifications, and test results for rigor and compliance.
• Collaborate across hardware, aerospace, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, and mechanical disciplines with government and industry partners.
