Job summary
HYR GLOBAL SOURCE INC is seeking an ETL QA Engineer for a 100% remote, 24+ month contract. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and hands-on QA experience with database testing, SQL, API testing, and data validation.
Candidates should be proficient with GenRocket, Parasoft, JIRA, and Xray, plus DBeaver, Postman, Snowflake, Matillion, Azure Blob, and GoAnywhere. This W2-only position supports an international remote workflow with flexible work arrangements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Experience with database testing, SQL queries, API testing, and data validation.
- Familiarity with JIRA/Xray and test management processes.
- Exposure to ETL testing, data integration, and cloud-based data workflows.

GenRocket, Parasoft, JIRA & Xray, Dbeaver, Postman, Snowflake, Go Anywhere, Azure Blob, Matillion - Candidate must match 90% of the required skillset and with database ETL testing exp.
- Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Hands-on experience with database testing, SQL queries, API testing, and data validation.
- Good working knowledge of JIRA/Xray and test management processes.
- Exposure to ETL testing, data integration, and cloud-based data workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills.
