Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC is seeking an ETL Developer who will plan and implement ETL solutions using Informatica DEI/BDM, working with design and architecture teams.

Responsibilities include developing code, unit testing, and supporting SIT/UAT, with production deployment planning and issue resolution, plus performance tuning and exposure to Talend/Snowflake or Ab Initio as a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETL design and implementation.
• Proficient with Informatica DEI/BDM.
• Hands-on with Hive, Unix and SQL.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills; able to work onshore/offshore.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan ETL development based on designer/architect input.
• Develop ETL code using Informatica DEI/BDM and create unit tests.
• Provide testing support across SIT/UAT and defect triage.
• Create production deployment plans and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Support production deployments and investigate ETL issues.
• Performance tuning using Informatica DEI/BDM; knowledge of Hive.

Job description

• Resource should have the following technical skill set.
• Understand the design, work with designer and architect, and based on that plan the ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Assist in completing the design deliverables.
• Perform ETL development using Informatica DEI/BDM and create the code base, complete the unit testing and capture unit test results.
• At times should be able to perform independent testing.
• Provide the testing support for defect triage and resolution across the SIT, UAT phases.
• Create the production deployment plan, scheduling sheets and get change approval from required stake holders.
• Support production deployment and co -ordinate with production support and infrastructure teams.
• Provide warranty support and investigate production ETL issues and fix them.
• Implement performance tuning using Informatica DEI/BDM toolset.
• Should have strong knowledge on Hive
• Should have strong Unix and SQL knowledge
• Should have gitlab , CICD knowledge
• Should have good communication skill
• Should be able to work in onshore offshore model
• It will be an additional advantage if candidate has exposure to Talend + Snowflake or Ab Initio
