As a Senior DataStage Developer with a specialization in ETL and Data Warehousing, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes for our data warehouse initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of data, fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient ETL processes using IBM DataStage. Ensure the performance, integrity, and security of ETL processes in a data warehouse environment.

• Data Warehousing: Design and implement data warehousing solutions that align with business requirements. Develop and maintain data warehouse architecture, ensuring scalability and flexibility.

• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and gather data requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for ETL and data warehousing projects.

• Data Integration: Work closely with data architects, database administrators, and business intelligence teams to integrate data seamlessly. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and data warehouse processes.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes and data warehouse performance for efficiency and scalability. Conduct regular performance monitoring, tuning activities, and capacity planning.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data warehouse architecture. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in ETL and data warehousing.

• Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and guidance. Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members in ETL and data warehousing practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a DataStage Developer, with at least 10+ years of hands-on experience.

• Strong expertise in ETL concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.

• Proficiency in IBM DataStage toolset (DataStage Designer, Director, and Administrator).

• Experience with database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL proficiency.

• Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture and design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field. Certification in IBM DataStage.

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).

• Knowledge of data quality and data governance best practices
