Job summary
Value Innovation Labs Inc. in New York is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to design, build and optimize enterprise ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
You will develop complex data integration solutions for data warehouses and work closely with QA, DBA, architecture, and development teams. The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience with IBM DataStage 11.7.x or higher, strong Linux and Shell Scripting, and hands-on SQL with DB2 and SQL Server, plus Cognos/Tableau.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.7.x or higher.
- Strong Linux and Shell Scripting skills.
- Hands-on experience with IBM DB2 and SQL Server.
- ETL testing, SIT, UAT, and production support.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or iterative methodologies.
- Cognos 11.x and Tableau

- Build parallel jobs, job sequences, transformations, and data integration workflows.
- Troubleshoot production ETL failures and improve job performance.
- Develop complex SQL queries and perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and production releases.
- Collaborate with QA, DBA, architecture, and application development teams.
10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.7.x or higher
Strong Linux and Shell Scripting skills
Hands-on experience with Kettle (Pentaho Data Integration)
Advanced knowledge of IBM DB2 and SQL Server
Complex SQL development and query optimization
ETL testing, SIT, UAT, and production support
Experience with Agile, Scrum, or iterative methodologies
- Cognos 11.x and Tableau
- Enterprise data warehousing and data integration
A highly experienced ETL professional who can independently manage complex data integration solutions, resolve production issues, and mentor junior developers.
