Job summary

Hamilton Lane is hiring an ETL Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration solutions using Python (PySpark), Snowflake, and cloud-native tools. You will collaborate with data architects, scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products for analytics and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience building data pipelines extracting from REST APIs, relational databases, cloud storage, and flat files.
• Advanced SQL development, performance tuning, and large-scale data workloads.
• Experience with Snowflake features: virtual warehouses, streams, tasks, stages, Snowpipe, secure data sharing.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud data ecosystem and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark), Snowflake, and cloud technologies.
• Build reliable data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data architects, scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver structured data products.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads and ETL performance to meet SLAs.
• Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines and models.
