Job summary

Ellenco Estágios e Treinamentos is seeking a Snowflake Python ETL Engineer in Boston, MA for a long-term contract. You design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that load data into Snowflake, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

You will implement Python-based ETL frameworks, optimize Snowflake performance, and orchestrate workflows with Airflow, dbt, or similar tools. Strong SQL and cloud platform experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing scalable data pipelines in Snowflake.
• Strong Python-based ETL development experience with Pandas/PySpark/Snowpark.
• Advanced SQL skills focused on Snowflake environments.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT orchestration tools and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of data modeling (star/snowflake) and data governance basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python for Snowflake ingestion and transformation.
• Build and manage data transformations with Snowflake SQL, Python, and Snowpark.
• Ingest data from databases, APIs, files, and cloud storage (S3, Azure, GCS).
• Implement data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation processes.
• Tune Snowflake performance via clustering, partitioning, and warehouse sizing.
• Develop reusable Python modules and ETL automation frameworks.
• Orchestrate workflows with Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or Control-M.
• Implement CI/CD for data workflows and manage multi-environment deployments.
• Monitor jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Ensure data security and governance using RBAC, masking policies, and encryption.
