Job summary

Ethereum Technologies LLC is seeking a senior SQL Server specialist to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data solutions. You will develop T-SQL, tune queries, and build robust ETL pipelines using SSIS while ensuring high availability and scalable data migration.

The role requires 6+ years of experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, .NET stack, and cloud integrations (Azure/AWS). Collaboration with stakeholders and governance practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in MS SQL Server and T-SQL development.
• 5+ years ETL with SSIS and ETL best practices.
• 5+ years in database architecture, data modeling, and large-scale migrations.
• 4+ years of Windows Server administration and deployment.
• 4+ years of .NET technologies including PowerShell, ASP.NET, and C#.
• 4+ years implementing HA/DR with Always On, Mirroring, or Log Shipping.
• 4+ years of education/experience equivalency.
• Certifications such as Azure DB Admin Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate are a plus.
• Experience with cloud DB platforms and migration tools (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, AWS RDS).
• Familiarity with tSQLt and automated DB CI/CD using Git/Azure DevOps.
• BI tooling (SSRS, Power BI) and data governance practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to present designs to large audiences.

Job description

6+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 through current), T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.

5+ years of experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL best practices.

5+ years of experience in database architecture, data modeling, schema design, and executing large-scale data migration/conversion projects.

4+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2008 through current) and database platform deployment/administration.

4+ years of experience developing automation and application components using Microsoft .NET technologies, including PowerShell scripting, ASP.NET, and C#.

4+ years of experience implementing SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Always On Availability Groups, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping).

4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate.

Experience with cloud database platforms and migration tools (Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, AWS RDS).

Familiarity with T-SQL unit testing frameworks (e.g., tSQLt) and automated database CI/CD using Git/Azure DevOps.

Experience with BI tooling and reporting (SSRS, Power BI) and data governance practices.

Proven track record in stakeholder management and presenting technical designs to enterprise and client audiences.
