Job summary

Jersey College seeks an Adjunct Ethics Instructor to join our Nursing Program. The position involves preparing progress and grade reports, maintaining attendance records, evaluating student competency, and supporting faculty with program goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's with 15 semester hours (or 23 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline, and a Master’s in Philosophy. Prior teaching experience is preferred. This is a part-time, on-site role with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school
  • Master Degree in Philosophy is required
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
  • Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
  • Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
  • Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
  • Attending faculty meetings
  • Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
  • Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration

Position: Adjunct Ethics Instructor
Essential Functions
  • Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
  • Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
  • Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives

  • Attending faculty meetings
