Job summary

UCB is seeking an Ethics & Business Integrity Lead, Advanced Therapies, to partner with global leaders and embed ethical practices across R&D, regulatory, medical, and commercialization activities. This hybrid role is based in Atlanta, Boston, and Raleigh, with a focus on risk-based compliance for a clinical-stage business.

You will collaborate with Legal, Quality, Privacy, and Internal Audit to strengthen ethical culture, ensure compliance with US healthcare requirements, and drive responsible

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of compliance, ethics, legal, audit, or risk experience.
• Significant experience within the life sciences industry.
• Experience supporting clinical-stage development activities.
• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare compliance requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments, monitoring, and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ethics and compliance advisor to business leaders.
• Lead risk assessments and mitigation planning activities.
• Design Ethics and Business Integrity processes for researches and development team working on advanced therapies.
• Advise on research, development, medical, and regulatory activities.
• Develop and execute risk-based compliance program initiatives.
• Deliver training and communications that promote ethical decision-making.
• Monitor program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
