Job summary

CMA CGM Group seeks a senior ethics, privacy, and integrity leader for North America. You will oversee data privacy compliance, advise on policies, train teams, manage breach responses, and act as escalation point for all privacy matters.

You will also spearhead anti-corruption initiatives, manage ethics campaigns, support investigations, and collaborate with Legal, IT, HR, and Compliance to uphold integrity standards across the region.

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years of general experience
  • Experience leading U.S. data privacy program(s)
  • Experience providing legal guidance regarding data privacy
  • Experience leading corporate policies and procedures related to anti-corruption and ethics/business integrity
  • General working knowledge of concepts involving U.S. economic sanctions
  • General working knowledge of regulatory compliance programs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, MS O365)
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as regional leader and subject matter expert for CMA CGM Group’s Ethics, Privacy, and Integrity programs across North America
  • Lead data privacy compliance, advice, training, transversal projects, assessments, policies, procedures, and breach response for North America
  • Serve as escalation point for data privacy matters and primary regional contact for data subject requests
  • Lead the North America anti-corruption compliance program for the shipping division
  • Lead conflict of interest, gifts and hospitality, donations and sponsorships processes, including campaigns, KPIs, reporting, tools, and policy/procedure development
  • Lead regional Code of Ethics initiatives and campaigns
  • Provide regional support for the Duty of Vigilance compliance program and Speak Up whistleblowing program
  • Support internal compliance investigations
  • Lead training and educational initiatives on data privacy, anti-corruption, Duty of Vigilance, ethics, conflicts of interest, Speak Up, gifts and hospitality, and donations and sponsorship
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the North America AFA training campaign
  • Perform miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned
  • Partner with Legal, Information Technology, Human Resources, Compliance, Marseille Compliance, and business stakeholders

Job description

Requirements
