Alto Ingredients, Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician in Boardman, OR to conduct tests and experiments supporting ethanol production. You will prepare equipment, analyze results, and report findings to management while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a BS or equivalent preferred, with 2–3 years of lab experience acceptable as substitute. Strong Excel skills and good communication are essential, with shift flexibility and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Identifies opportunities to improve ethanol production through testing and experimentation.
• Prepares equipment, products, and materials for experiments.
• Evaluates test results, writes reports, and recommends corrective action.
• Maintains and records test results in an automated or manual system.
• Prepares samples for shipment to laboratories for complex analysis.
• Monitors production trends and data; reports weekly or monthly on testing results.
• Communicates results to the Production Manager and peers.
• Travels offsite to collect and deliver product samples.
